Cocky Colin by Richard Tulloch.

This story is about a cockroach named Colin. Colin leaves his home, (Back Off Ridge), and goes out into the light where the action is. He has an adventure and eats cake and chips but a girl whacks him with a spoon. Then he tries Sumo Wrestling but doesn't do very well with that. He finds a new home at Rub Bish Tip where there is plenty of food for him and his family.
This book was a bit tricky to read. It is split into 8 chapters.
