This is an Australian book. Its about Bunyip Bluegum, Bill Barnacle and Sam Sawnoff, the Penguin Bold and of course the their amazing, everlasting and very cantankerous Magic Puddin'. A very unusual pudding indeed. Whistle three times, turn it round and it's steak and kidney if that's what you fancy, or hot jam roll or a delicious apple dumpling. But with a pudding like this you have to be careful of the pudding thieves. I thought this was a very funny book. My Granny bought it back from Australia. By Elizabeth Hall.
